Been wanting to try this place for a moment, and I finally did. Took my mom with me since she’s been wanting to try it also. And the staff is very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is average. But the food, is on par for what you pay for. That being the size of the portions. I got the meatball Wellington as an appetizer, and I thought it was going to be smaller than what it really was. The thing was huge. The size of an actual softball. The crust was flaky and crispy and the meatball was very tender and delicious. I split it with my mom And we both devoured it. My mom got the Hawaiian Stromboli, and once again, she was very surprised by the portion size. It was actually around a foot in length. like the meatball, it was very good. The dough was flaky and crispy, it had tons of ham in it, and, the pineapple was good. The cottage cheese was also very good. I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza. That thing was on point. The Prosciutto had a good saltiness to it and the arugula was peppery. The pizza had a basalmic drizzle on it, and the pie itself had a good olive oil base to it. The dough was, a good New York style dough Definitely not disappointed in the food. You should try it.

I have nothing but the best things to say about Giovanna’s!! Nice atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. Didn’t catch their names but the waitress with 5 kids (that’s what I remember ) is the nicest person. My dad doesn’t eat garlic knots but she included him and asked him if he wanted to try some garlic knots but without garlic. This was my first time trying Giovanna’s and even though it’s pricey, like most places, I would definitely go back. The garlic bread and garlic knots were chefs kiss and the cook was so sweet!

Absolutely wonderful buffalo chicken calzone! The owners are awesome and super friendly people. My husband got his hair cut and then we ventured into the next part and so thankful we did! Barbershop / Bar / Restaurant all in one

Not going to rate 1 star because I haven’t had the food but went in and wasn’t greeted at all. Waited literally 10-15 minutes and nobody came out at all...really want to try them but wondering how that happened. There was one other couple seated and that was it. No workers in sight. Will adjust review if I get to try them and judge fairly on food. EDIT: Now having tried their pizza, I can say it is infact delicious. I am bumping my 2 star to 5 star. The service I received this time was much better and perhaps I was too frustrated and spoke out in annoyance in my original post. Sometimes businesses will have slip ups and that's okay. I do apologize. I want to leave my original paragraph up for transparency in hopes others can do the same before being harsh like I may have been.

To celebrate a recent life accomplishment, we visited Giovanna's Pizzeria, and it was the perfect location with a delightful variety of food choices. The tastes were uniquely New York Style, which is as close to Italian as you can get without being in Italy. We ordered Garlic Knots, the White Pie, Sketti & Nonna's Meatball, and Chicken Alfredo, which came with a salad. The Garlic Knots were a delightful combination of olive oil, pharmaceutical cheese, and garlic. The Sketti was a healthy portion and was so delicious - the fact was fresh and the meatballs (there were 2!) were tender and savory, and the pasta perfect - not over- cooked or mushy; this dish could easily be shared with a child. My son really enjoyed the chicken Alfredo, and found it was also perfect for doing a garlic knot or pizza crust. The white pizza tops the white pizzas I have enjoyed - with the blend of cheese and the seasoning and olive oil on the top, I savored each bite.

We went as a group to try this restaurant. It was awesome, and we were able to try a variety of items from the menu. The garlic knots and mozzarella sticks were great fresh and hot. The pizza and stromboli was on point. The chicken Alfredo was creamy and full of flavor. Talking to the owner and everything is made fresh daily and you could taste it. I will be back to try more items off the menu. If you get a calzone or stromboli it will take a minute to cook, but worth the wait.

I didn't have the best first experience, but I did have a lasting one. First time going there, the first pizza did get messed up but they redid it and was very nice about it. The second pizza I received was amazing, one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. 10/10. I can see the effort they put into their craft!

I had the pleasure of eating at Giovanna's Pizzaria for the first time last night and it definitely won't be the last. The staff was extremely friendly, the music was great, and the food was amazing. I could eat the Caprese Salad every day for the rest of my life. The epitome of a hometown vibe, this is a little hidden gem is my new happy place. I think it's important to remember how great food & good vibes can impact those around us. Thanks for making my week!
